Liz and Ash got married in the beautiful All Saint's Church, Loughguile, a short stroll from Lissanoure Castle, one of Northern Ireland's dream wedding venues. I was delighted when Liz asked me if I would be her wedding photographer during a Christmas catch-up last year with all our closest school friends. I was even more excited when I found out her plans...I knew it was going to be an incredible day, combining the best of Northern Irish hospitality and Indian flavours, with a touch of Bollywood!
Liz was in very safe hands with Joanne from Hairoscope. I'd met Joanne a couple of years ago when she did my sister's wedding. She's brilliant, not only a Master stylist, but also making sure everyone is relaxed, happy and having a giggle.
The lovely silk kimonos were a gift from Liz, bought on Etsy.
The flowers were so beautiful. I loved the mix of pink and peach tones, so pretty and delicate. Gorgeous creations from The Stables Flower Company.
And another generous gift from the bride to her favourite ladies, an elegant pearl drop necklace to complete the bridesmaids outfits.
Make-up artist, Martina, did such a beautiful job. All the ladies left her chair with the kind of gorgeous make-up that looks like you're wearing nothing, but enhancing your skin, eyes and lips in the subtlest way, that is so hard to do!
At this point I had to tear myself away from the final preparations and make my way to the church, greeted by the very dapper ushers.
Looking beautiful, outside the church gates, waiting for Liz to arrive.
Liz and her Dad took the opportunity to drive to the church together in an amazing vintage car, making the most of precious final father-daughter time before walking Liz down the aisle.
What a beautiful and delicate dress and veil. I adore Liz's heart shaped bouquet. And how handsome does her Dad look?
Congratulations to the new Mr&Mrs Dole! Beaming!
Taking over the wheels to drive his beautiful bride along the avenue to the castle.
I think it's safe to say, Mr&Mrs Martin are delighted to have Ash as their new son-in-law.
Ash and best men, Reservoir Dogs style.
The look of love...
And Liz with the bridesmaids, "Bridesmaids" style. Liz, you nailed it!
Stunning venue and what a good-looking group of friends and family, Liz&Ash!
Stealing the new bride and groom away to the picturesque lake for a few quiet moments.
Liz and Ash decided on a 'Spice' theme for the table names.
They chose a beautifully simple table setting, finished with a favour of homemade mango chutney.
The cake was a gift from Liz's aunt. You can see how delicate and elegant it looked, and I can tell you, it tasted as good as it looked!
