Becs and Tom met at a festival and quickly bonded over their shared love of Casio watches.  In Becs own words, we're "both big fans - they tell you the date AND the day as well as the time - what's not to like?!".  They bought each other gold ones when their original ones were a bit on the battered side.

After three consecutive Valentines' (teacher, Becs did her own show and tell) of Tom's not-so-romantic-but-absolutely practical gifts, Tom surprised Becs with a romantic, and personal proposal.

"It was amazing! Callum, Tom's brother, unfurled the banner from Alister's yacht and I nearly choked on my Haribo Strawbs!" Becs

A few months later, and they said their 'I dos" in the beautiful Clissold House, Stoke Newington, in front of their closest friends and family.  Weddings are always full of laughter, but this wedding topped the charts!

After a champagne reception on the terrace, they continued to The Peasant in Clerkenwell to celebrate.  The Peasant is a gorgeous, quirky gastro-pub.  Filled with natural light and the owners' circus memorabilia and art.

Many thanks to everyone involved in helping to make the day so special:

Ceremony venue: Clissold House, Stoke Newington

Reception venue: The Peasant, Clerkenwell

Bec's dress: Made by Verity at Lace is More in Whiltshire

Tom & Robin's suits: Topman

Bouquet: Angel Flowers on Upper St, Islington

Button holes: Freesias picked by Becs at Cathedral Flowers, Gloucester

Table settings: Flowers by Becs picked at Cathedral Flowers

Place settings: Handmade by Becs and her Mum

Special mention to Brain, who couldn't be there on the wedding day, was missed, but featured during the speech on Bec's favourite jumper, and top Valentines' day gift from Tom!

Congratulations to the new Mr&Mrs Veals!  May the rest of your married lives continue to be filled with as much love and laughter as your wedding day.
