Hulya and Ben picked my new favourite London wedding venue, Clifton Nurseries in Little Venice for their beautiful and intimate wedding.
Close to Warwick Avenue, and only a couple of minutes walk from their home, Clifton Nurseries is an absolute gem! By day a garden centre, by night, transforming to an almost magical venue for a limited number of weddings and special events.
Clifton Nurseries is London's oldest garden centre, opened in 1851. It's quaint, picturesque and full of charm. The ceremony was held in one of the elegant glass houses.
While Ben and their guests waited for Hulya's arrival, the glass house was filled with classical music thanks to the talented Palatine String Quartet.
Hulya and Ben's adorable troupe of flower girls and ring bearers!
This is definitely one of the prettiest paths that a father could walk his daughter along before turning down the aisle.
First peek as Hulya starts her walk down the aisle!
And for a touch of extra wedding day luck...the resident cat makes an appearance and gives its blessing!
Beaming with love and joy.
After making it official, everyone took the very short walk to the second glasshouse for a champagne reception, canapés and enjoying more of the Palatine String Quartet's beautiful music.
While guests enjoyed the reception and made their mark in ink, with a fingerprint leaf on the friend and family tree, a really lovely way to create something special for their home; I stole Hulya and Ben away for some photos.
Could this be any more perfect?! What a pretty setting. I was in photographer's heaven!
Hulya and Ben made their own bouquet and boutonniere. I'm impressed!
The reception room just before everyone took their seats. This is such a special venue with the natural light, the space, quaint everything!
The team at Clifton Nurseries arranged the flower pieces for the table. So pretty!
I loved their chalk board for their table plan. Beautifully simple.
Ben's bi-lingual speech went down a treat!
Clifton Nurseries won my heart even more (if you can believe that's possible) by providing a vegan menu.
And it just keeps getting better...!
And look at this beautiful tower of Vegan deliciousness by Ruby's of London:
Congratulations Hulya and Ben! What an incredible wedding day! Thank-you so much for picking me to be your wedding photographer and introducing me to such a special venue.
I hope your wedding day was the first of many, many happy days as husband and wife!
Thanks to Amy, the venue co-ordinator for helping the day flow smoothly, and to everyone involved for making it so wonderful!
